..great open playing area for kids and well away from the road (we will miss that alot!) Good accommodation and friendly atmosphere. We've had a great week and are looking to plan another visit

Peaceful stay in a wonderfully comfortable cabin in an ideal location - the sound of pheasant and sighting of 2 deer one evening was brilliant - a must return experience for all

We've had a lovely peaceful holiday - we've been to some beautiful places, met some lovely people and enjoyed some wonderful weather! The wildlife highlight - a buzzard floating acros car bonnet and landing on verge beside us - brilliant!

This spindlewood lodges is just magic. to leave now is almost tragic. In avalon's valley it is lazing, i've never stayed anywhere so amazing!Blackbird, robin, buzzard, deer - beautiful creatures surrounding here.Wherever i go, wherever i may roam, i'll always consider this my spiritual home

.......lastly, I must add my comments on the lodge its got everything we could possilby need, spotlessley clean, homely and welcoming and we have enjoyed every minute here

Its a very rare treat to find accommodation that looks EXACTLY as it does in its promotional material. We have really loved our stay - we'll definitely be recommending!

Had a lovely week in the lodge - kids loved playing out in the grass - found a cricket and frog whilst out exploring and loved the nightly walks around the field - couldn't resist "borrowing" the odd apple! So much to see and so many places to visit!

We have stayed in many lodges in Devon, Cornwall and Lake district - none compare to this one. Hope to come back to this idyllic place soon - msany thanks for lovely well equipped lodge

Sorry to be leaving after a fantastic holiday. The lodge and lovely views were first class. Definitely will be booking again.
